Fitness Reviews: Wantable Fitness Edit Review – June 2016

Another month, another box of shiny new workout gear showing up on my doorstep (YAY!). I’ve been using the Wantable Fitness Edit for 10 months straight and couldn’t love it more.

Especially when it compliments me…

If you don’t know about this personal styling service, here’s how it goes down:

The Fitness Edit is basically your own personal stylist via mail. You receive five items to try on in the comfort of your own home (no stressful malls and/or fat mirrors), then keep what you want and send back what you don’t (return label is provided). You pay a $20 styling fee, which is nonrefundable but is applied to your final purchase. And if you keep all five items, you receive an additional 20% off!

So how does Wantable style you without seeing your fine self in person? It’s simple: You fill out an all-inclusive (but brief) survey providing your sizes and answering questions regarding the types of items you’d like to receive (sports bras, shorts, pants, tanks, hoodies, etc.), activities you do, and even the colors you prefer. A rating system of dislike, like, and love keeps it easy, and you also select your preferred price ranges. Then your stylist handpicks your collection for the month.

Let’s take a look at my June Edit.

Wingspan Bra ($52)

Before you read any further, make sure you notice that the sexy strap detailing is in the FRONT. I liked the fit and support of this sports bra but was a little confused by it. I put it aside to ponder.

Free Spirit Singlet Back Slit Tank ($44)

Once I noticed this tank, I wondered if it would work with the sexy/confusing sports bra…and I was right!

I am absolutely obsessed with this tank! I don’t even know if I’m going to wear it to work out but I literally wore it out the night after I got it with a pair of white jeans and heels. It’s so soft, so flattering, and is open in the back — you can even wear it backwards or tied in the back. This is definitely one of my favorite pieces I’ve received from Wantable so far.

Tri Blend Muscle Tee ($55)

I really loved this coral heather knit and it was super soft and comfortable, but the muscle tee cut just isn’t that flattering on me. I decided not to keep this one.

Marvel Crop Palm Leaf ($68)

I’m in love with this print — it’s pretty and different but the dark color scheme keeps it slimming. And not to mention the mesh panels at the bottom. I also loved the way these pants fit; needless to say, I kept them.

Michelle Cropped Moto Jogger ($68)

These are awesome pants, but they didn’t look great on me. I think if they were a little baggier, it might have been a better situation, but the light gray, kinda-tight sweatpants didn’t do my booty any favors. I sent them back.

Bottom line, I was very happy with this Edit, especially since I got a great new wardrobe staple with the black tank.
