What do you love most about being a stylist?
The positive responses! It makes my day when I get a note back from someone that loved their order, whether it’s an order I filled or not. We strive to always meet our customers preferences and requests to help them look and feel great!
What piece of advice do you have for customers to get the best Wantable experience?
Use the stream and leave us notes! We love to hear what the customer wants and a little direction in terms of likes and dislikes helps us get to know them and their style.
What’s your guilty pleasure?
The Bachelor and Bachelorette. I’m sort of ashamed to like the series, but can’t help but watch it every week.
What’s one piece you think every girl should have in her closet?
Black everything. I know that’s not one piece, but having anything and everything in black will never go out of style. As Wednesday Addams said, “I’ll stop wearing black when they make a darker color.”
What’s something you want customers to know about you?
I graduated in May with a degree in Textile and Apparel Design from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, as well as a degree in Textile Development and Marketing from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. It’s been great taking my background and applying it to something so personally connected to the consumer.
What’s your favorite thing to do in Milwaukee?
Eat. I’m a total foodie and love to keep up with the new restaurants and food trends.
Any fun facts about yourself? Ie. Hidden talents, special interests, quirks?
I’ve been a vegetarian my entire life. Most people are shocked to find out I’ve never had a cheeseburger.
Do you have any social media accounts where customers can follow you?
You can follow me on Instagram @solillie. I will also be launching a food and lifestyle blog called My Sconnie Life, so keep an eye out! I will be updating through my Instagram.
What’s your favorite winter trend?
Hats and scarves. I love giant chunky scarves for those really cold days and I’m super into the pom pom hats right now.
What’s your favorite brand at Wantable?
Lukka Lux, one of our fitness brands. I am obsessed with the Foget-me-not Crop Pullover. It’s cute, but also practical. They do a great job creating pieces that can be used for fitness or every day wear.
“The makeup piece that’s always in my bag is..?”
Nothing, actually. I wear very limited makeup, keeping it to eyeliner and mascara. I guess if chap stick counts, that would be about it.
I consider my style to be?
I’m pretty casual, but I like to try new things, so I don’t really confine myself to one particular style.
What are you most looking forward to in 2017?
Hopefully going to Poland to visit my brother! He moved over there a few months ago and Ive been itching to get back over to Europe for a long time now.
